Hello
Eblag or I have brought one of those clothes airer things which now doubles up as our dish tripod (the bit you hang the clothes on is detachable from the tripod)
Regards Mark |

or once you have parked up and dropped the legs, remove the jockey wheel and put a pole in place of it, and mount the dish on the pole...... Shmiples
Just make sure that you can get a line of site from the pole before finishing the park up procedure |

Beware buying too cheap, I bought a cheapy tripod and then had to go and reset the dish every time there was a storm, or some wind, or the dog brushed past it. Spent 60 squid on a Maxview tripod and have never looked back - set it up once and it stays there.
As others have said, the jockey wheel pole is the cheapest option and usually works well but you can be limited in line of sight depending on the angles!

Don't EVER remove the jockey wheel. This is there to support the weight of your caravan and to level the van, fore and aft, when parked. The corner steadies are just that, steadies, and are NOT designed or constructed to carry the weight of a caravan under any circumstances.
Trust me.
