Hi all. Wondered if anybody can recommend any good touring sites in Dorset please? We will be taking he dog, and probably a coule of teenagers too unless we can lose them somewhere !  Not interested in sites that demand complete silence after 7.30pm and where people look down their noses at you, we are just a normal family that enjoy holidays in our caravan. Thanks  Laughing

Depends what you want to see...?

There are loads of things on the jurassic coast to view like durdle door and lulworth cove which are interesting.

If you can get into the ghost village (Tyneham village) if you can get in because it is in the middle of the ranges which tends to be closed off for the army to practice but it is an interesting place.

Other rubbish around like monkey world and the tank museum which are good once.

Moreton lakes for dog walking. Best walk for dog is this http://www.explorethesouthwestcoastpath.co.uk/lulworth2weymouth.html  you could be lazy and just walk from weymouth  to osmington and back which is about 2 hours and still quite scenic.
