May edition 4x4 Magazine has a new write up about green laning featuring some famous ones to get your juices flowing! Smile

Not great though - out of the 5 lanes they chose to cover, 3 aren't publicly accessible without permission.

But I did like the Monsal Dale writeup. The 4x4s really struggled, yet I've been up there twice in the Paj with no issues at all...

yeah im planning Monsal this weekend, is it something i could do on my own or is it best to take another 4x4 with me?

Dont know any other 4x4'ers personally to ask at short notice Sad

its not wise to go out on your own , better to have another car with you just in case anything happens ( breakdown or get stuck etc )  Crying or Very sad

You'll want two of you - if you get stuck, there's no mobile reception up there either. Also there are several gates to open and shut, so it's better if you can take it in turns to hop out in the rain...
