The Met Police have had all their Shoguns recalled and I would think the same would apply to new Pajeros.
The throttle pedal it seems is flimsy and will bend when preasure is applied. What is happening is that when pushed down on the p*ss the sole plate of the pedal would slip past the kick down switch and then hook under it so you are away on full throttle.
So any new owners beware.

I will watch out for this when my right "boot" hits the pedal.
