bought anew filter for it today, and as usual didn't fit, with it having a maf on  Confused

so,whipped the old air box off





cut some steel and shaped it



cut a plate to go over the maf



made template for hole into maf



cut and welded plate



welded to bits together



and fitted into bay

The roof rails you put on i saw was from a 2.8. Is it a perfect fit or did you make changes for it to fit? Did it use the rails or did you drill into the roof?

they fit fine, you just need to remove the middle mounting bracket, you need to drill them into the roof  Wink
