I will double check temp sensor with Mitsubishi make sure they have given me the correct one! I don't think the engine has
Problems, also I have no record of the water pump been changed so for piece of mind I fitted a new one so I know it's pumping and not to take notice of the guage till I get it working rite!

Yes with the wire removed from the sensor the guage reads about a quarter

Ok well I could try removing guage/clocks and then putting a wire direct from the guage to the sensor to Eliminate the wiring, before I go and buy a new guage or set of clocks! Can I just change the guage or do I need the complete dash clocks?

I dont know, I think another set of clocks.
The wire can be tested with meter but I think your wasting your time.

Start with whats wrong and work bk.
So far its your gauge.
You can fit another universal guage and leave yours as it is.

How much would you say for a second hand set of clocks? Local breaker wants £100! Also is the milage saved on the clocks or ECU??
