Those gauges do look though, you got a light pic |
I'll go and get one for you as and when, but they look good in the dark
Brighter in day light and auto dims when side/main lights come on
On start up needle spins round back and forth to re-calibrate looks good. |

I know you couldn't wait not the best pic but some idea

Yes,standard only led's are in the roof & boot
Fat fingers aren't any good for doing dials have to wait for the grandchildren to get a little older and help.
One 3 and one 10mths I'll be ok in another 3/4 years |

Who?
Gauges tend to be from around £10-£30 dependent on what type/style etc
Sensors come(or should do ) with gauges
The sensor housing for pipe is around £10 or just under that fits in hose.
So on average expect around £30 all in |

Right, have got the bits and bobs needed just have to face doing the job now, not at all sure how I`m going to make the gauge fit in the hole it`s a smidge small anyone know what the little screw is on the hose sensor housing ? it`s next to where you screw the sensor in. |

the little screw is for a negative wire back to the chassis or wherever, if your sender has a single pole then you need a wire on the little screw as well, if it has 2 poles then you you run the negative off one of the poles
when you say it's small do you mean the gauge?
if so strip the binnacle and bin one gauge, use a 52mm hole cutter and make a hole in the perspex screen and fit the gauge into that instead, just make sure your hole is central to the binnacle.
might change mine to 60mm gauges when i get round to it, they fit a lot better |
