Parked up today and realised I had a couple of wet patches underneath when I got back to it. Few drips coming from either side of the belly pan. It appears to be water I dont seem to be losing any from my coolant resvoir. Any ideas? I did have a quick look under the bonnet and there is a bit of water on the lip at the bottom of the rad could it be a rad leak? Doesnt the coolant link up to the rad and pump through it or is it a seperate system? Just would of thought if it is the rad I would of lost coolant out of the resvoir.
Any advice would greatly be appriciated.
Thanks in advance

Check your main radiator level mate, ie remove the pressure cap off of the rad. The expansion bottle level can be fine, but the main radiator can still be low. They are linked, but the expansion bottle, as its name suggests, takes water from the main rad as it expands under pressure, and when the system cools, syphons it back into the main radiator. Chances are, you have a water leak.

What difference can Aircon do in case of water leakage?

What difference can Aircon do in case of water leakage?

When air con is used, the expansion valve ices up like the inside of a freezer. When it is switched off, the ice melts, and is carried out of the car via a drain tube. This drip of water is often confused with an engine water leak.
