Forgot to ask in my last post, are limited slip diffs standard on the 3.2 or is there a sticker on the diff ( my 2.8 had an orange sticker on the door pillar)

My 2.8 has a label on the diff filler plug - couldn't see it till I cleaned all the muck off though!

Just looked on mine and the label says  "diff lock  E47D" but I don't know if this means it's an LSD or not

My LSD has to have special oil so it has the sticker - I would assume that without the sticker you don't have an LSD but you need one of the experts to turn up on here.

Is it possible to have and LSD AND a locker in the same diff? - someone will know.

I'm even more confused now! Hoping that lsd oil is ok, I know you can't use non lsd oil in an lsd but you can use lsd oil in a non lsd diff.

if you jack up the rear of the truck so both wheels are off the floor.
turn a wheel by hand,
if the other wheel turns the same way, you have a lsd.
if it turns opposite way you hav,nt

No you don't have an LSD, you have a fully locking diff done by the switch on the console, can only be used below about 6mph and only when in 4hlc and 4llc and switched on when stationary.
It will get you out of places an LSD can't.

No, it must be the correct spec of oil. Proper transmission oil. Have a search and you should find a full list of the correct oils. I know I posted a copy of the owners manual page and assassin has made many posts re oils.
