Cheap machines have chinese copied software.
always freezes and the live data on diff vehicles is a serious hit and miss.
Carman was always Japanese.
Never known any machine over here to be in even the same class.
ive had mb star for merc which was mega but carman way out does this as does imports and any make import.
I had to have my machine put back to 2009 as the 2013 software was a serious joke.
half of the live data was like symbols, you had to guess what sensor it was by its actions.
some were fine, like the simple stuff m.a.f etc but on mazda rx8 there was no more oxygen sensors.
fat load of good that is.
after alot of phone calls the guy said ok its copied in and cant be changed.
after I spoke to this guy in Cambridge he cleared it all up.
explained the chinese just copy other stuff, if theres a problem its tough and you try imagine to communicate the problem over.
he was telling me about the ford ids the chinese clone and its terrible.
I went back to nextech explained I had a interesting chat with another supplier and nextech just refunded me, gave me another memory card thats worth £100
And sorry yes we are having trouble at the moment.
he wasnt gonna say this before!
I know must stuff is chinese and yes some fine, if its got a good name then its been checked and tested.
but a guy I know buys all this chinese carp of a guy in a van.
things like wacker plate, cement mixers and by god there false economy.
I bought a weldersome years back, lasted 3 months, avr went.
I spent £700 on it, its like new but no power.
cant get the avr for it.
its the same with chinese motorbikes.
aload of carp.

Yeah but the problem is theres no back up anymore.
ie you get a techinical problem with software your dead in the water like me.
It's left me with keep on waiting and hope they sort this or buy a new machine that can code new cars like ford rangers etc but then suffer with no live data.
ive been hoping for over a year now that they sort it as spent near £3000 in 2009
