Mrs was complaining that the "trailer" light on dash was flashing intermittently, while NOT towing.
As a temp fix a swapped the relays over, and put the Non-Towing relay back in.

With our Holiday looming in August I took advantage of the good weather and went about re-doing the tow electrics.

I have removed the Landrover plug, and connected a universal tow electric pack straight to the wiring.

Originally I (reluctantly)used the supplied scotch locks.

Now I have removed all these and replaced with bullet connectors.

Swapped over the relays and put the Towing one back in. Constant clicking of relay and flashing of trailer light.

Double checked my wiring, all ok.

Could it be a knackered relay??

Feedback appreciated.

if all you have done is change scotchloks for bullets then it has to be one of the bullets.

Did you use crimp on bullets? - if so then you may have crimped one partially onto the insulation of a wire and it is making an intermittent connection.

A relay that keeps clicking is a sign of a bad connection.
