Did you mange to get the actuator cleaned and moving smoothly?

Can you move the rubber boot to one side so you can see actuator and then get someone to switch between 2WD and 4WD.

I think the actuator should still move if the truck is in neutral.

Sorry for the late reply been swamped with other stuff, it appears to move fine ive cleaned it up and used grease reccomended on here but stilk the same. Ive been excersising it a lot too.. if anything it's worse.. sigh Sad

It seems like the 4WD system is working fine - ignore the fashing lights for a while.

I would check for other causes of the juddering - maybe you have a CV joint that has worn out - they are only under stress when the front wheels are powered in 4WD.
