The 12N socket is the one that runs your running lights, this si the one that is normally fitted with the tow-bar. The 12S (supplementary)is the grey socket and is used for running the caravan lights, fridge, reversing lights and charging the caravan battery. sorry if this is obvious but someone mentioned above that they had a 12S fitted and wanted a 12N it looked like they were confused. |

|
|
Hi.
I want to wire up the 12(s) plug for a Shogun Sport 2.5TD (2005 model). I already have a 12(n).
I plan to take the permanent live direct from the battery and I will put an inline fuse in - does anyone know what size I need?
I have seen in this post that ignition live has been taken from the power plug (like the cigarette lighter charger) in the boot - does anyone know if this can cope with both the live for the fridge and the battery?
Thanks in advance for the help!
This thread has been really helpful so far.
