It was on option on the Challenger, so most likely an option on the Shogun Sport too.

If you have the frame number (from the plate on the bulkhead) you might be able to find the original specifications and options here. http://www.mitsubishi-challenger.info/specs/

My understanding is that the UK/European vehicles are either K94 (2.5 diesel) or K96 (3.0 petrol).

My 2004 Shogun Sport has LSD, I think we checked by lifting the rear end and turning one wheel while watching the rotation of the other (cant remember what the rotation should be buy Im sure you can find it on here with a search).
But I also checked some specs somewhere and it was listed as LSD, if you want me to have a hunt for the info I will
