Morning,
I need to change my radiator asap and I was hoping that I will find a write up on her but can't see it. Could anyone who has done it before give me step by step instructions? That's including the thermostat, fan and water pump (do you replace water pump when doing the rad???). Also where to get the parts from as I've heard done bad stories about dodgy rads.

Why do you need to change it or what makes you think it needs changed ? do you have an overheating problem ? is it still the original one on there.. what year model of truck is it you have ?
its fairly easy job to do not sure how mechanically minded you are reading from your post however...yes change water pump at same time as rad and thermo..
milners is good for parts although some on here might disagree I have not had any probs lately..you should be able to get all you need from milners I got a rad from them about a year ago and not had any probs so far..some on here recommend hartlepool radiators I think they're called assume they are based in hartlepool
any way get back to us with your symptons first before you start throwing money away unless of course your donald trump might be a cheap fix first always worth a try..
Radiator instructions HERE - remember that the radiator has two extra pipes on it at the bottom because it is also used for cooling the transmission fluid.
If you follow the bottom radiator hose upwards towards the engine you will see the thermostat housing - held by two bolts.
If you have the radiator out then it is easier to change the water pump - but it's not difficult with the radiator in place. It's personal choice as to whether you change it - I would while I've got it all apart.
TBH - all three are easy jobs if you are reasonably good at mechanical stuff but you could get in a mess if you are not too experienced.
As said above - you could be spending money for nothing - I changed my thermostat this summer because I knew it was giving problems - and I changed my water pump because it was leaking. I wouldn't have bothered changing them just for the sake of it.
A couple of brake pipe clamps for nipping the two auto fluid tubes are ideal. About 7 quid each from Halfords & look like orange plastic wire cutters with a loop round the handles to lock them.
