Having just acquired a rather splendid Evo, have started to go through the beast mechanically.

Front end needs ball joints, wishbones and track rod....only space I can get them is from the local dealer (eye watering at >£1k...)

Does any one know of a cheaper supplier? Suspect will be common service items.

Thanks. John

There is a thread HERE about the wishbones and bushes

I considered an Evo but it seems like most parts are dealer only which means expensive and put me off buying one.

They are very nice trucks but just too expensive to keep in good condition.

I highly recommend:

Euro 4x4 Parts

Its a French site supplying mostly genuine parts but its cheaper than main dealers.

I have bought genuine upper and lower ball joints from them and replacement track rod ends.

They will supply genuine wishbones too.

Approx prices incl vat are:

Genuine F Upper balljoint £40
Genuine F Lower balljoint £46
Genuine F Upper Wishbone £184
Replacement Track rod £24

Shipping is £15 and longest I had to wait was about 14days even thought they say 4week lead time.

I phoned Mitsubishi in Aberdeen and their wishbone was 233 incl vat on a 2-3 day lead time.
