Hi all, back again after a complete and utter S**T year and still no good signs on the horizon so i keep looking at my new car for next year, yes a while off but i like to research while i can, nowt else to do.
I had a cracking mk2 LWB 2.8 Flareside and not sure if i want to go back to the MK or go MK3 which i like, the only thing now that is putting me off them is the clutch, stupid DMF job`s. So i was wondering, Auto instead, are they any good, i ask here as you guys will tell the truth and use them how they should be.
I know all the build quality lark etc etc, but i have never had a modern car, and fancy an upgrade, and a car is what you make it in my eyes, once all the bits that are naff have been fettled. So its the few points i need to look into on the MK3 a si know all the MK2 problems, not that theres i many really for me to worry about, all easy fix.
I used to run veg on my MK2 and was great but this time i will run new veg oil and twin tank so that works on both. You see even the MK3 is better on fuel and bigger engine Smile or V6 Twisted Evil ....see i am hard work Laughing
So the 2 points mk3 points are
Clutch is naff DMF so how about Auto?
I hear the back ends go off line or something, is that easy rectified? and what causes it?

what your points please?

wolly Very Happy
