Did it stop suddenly or did it not work on some of the blower speeds? There's a resistor that can go kaput but it usually breaks down over time, meaning you lose the lower speeds first usually, if it stopped suddenly, switch faulty, loose wire, don't know where the heater is located on yours but on mk2 it's in passenger footwell, someone's foot might of knocked a wire off.

Jutwit beat it me to it.
but on a mk3 the type it uses I have known them to wipe the fan out completely.
Also I remember the unit is in the fan housing.
1st put a 12v power to fan if it works just change resistor.

We'll have found out this is not the problem have taken out the heater blower motor and function tested it and it works , also changed the resistor/rheostat and no luck so I function tested that to and all good so now I am thinking its a heater blower relay problem but am not sure which one or where it is as I don't have a manual for my paj , if anyone can shed any light I would be most appreciative ..
