Just wondering if anyone has managed to upgrade their later climate control unit with LEDs?

These take the smaller T-1 4NW bulbs and not the T10 bulbs like the older control unit version. I bought those by mistake, like the red one in the picture.

The smaller holders can be rewired with a sub-miniature/grain of wheat normal bulb but I think these would probably be too dim.

Any ideas?

I did mine with blue LEDs

The LEDs you need are called "neo wedge" LEDs like THESE

I think the size is T4 but I maybe wrong on that because I did mine about three years ago.

I now am very familiar how the dash comes out...  Laughing

And I know not to use red scotch locks now as they cut the smaller Jap wires in two...

ScotchLoks should be made illegal - they are unreliable.

I only use solder joints.

I agree, I had to solder the cut wire on the locking module and did have connection issues with a couple of scotch locks, damn things...
