I have a 2005 3.2 DiD Shogun Elegance and the Multi Centre Display above the radio has just stopped working plus the radio/cd are dead. I've checked the radio fuse by the drivers side fuse panel and also under the bonnet and both are OK. The sat nav still works and displays on the screen.
Any ideas what has gone wrong and what I need to check next please?
Thanks Pencil

I was gonna say the cigar lighter fuse but you said the sat nav still works.
I had this on mine.
daughter put a tablet charger in cigaf lighter.
it popped the fuse and took out the screen.
that fuse was near my knee if I remember correctly.

Thanks for that idea Jimmybond but after checking the cig lighter, it is working and all the other fuses are OK.

One thing, I thought the radio/cd was dead but with the volume turned up there is a hissing sound indicating power is there but nothing else even selecting CD or Radio? I've taken the radio out and can't see any loose connections.

I did wonder if the outside temp sensor failed whether this would disable the system? I did get a error message flash up on the screen saying no data connection or something like that at the time but not since. Does anyone know where this sensor is located please?

I also disconnected the battery overnight and charged it just to see if that would do anything - but no!

I'm at a bit of a loss now so hope someone can come up with other suggestions and might know where the temp sensor is located please?

Cheers Pencil

I get them symptoms on the range rover when the module behind the screen blows.
I dont know what the shogun uses as to be honest I seem to thought it was reliable unlile the landrover rangerover carp.
yes the reverse sensors can play.

as for temp sensor I dont know.
mk2 is in front bumper.
on this year id expect it in door mirror.

I did the resets and nothing but then driving home last night the screen suddenly lit up and I was able to enter my car type and hey presto its all up working again including the radio/cd, temp and time! Can only think it is a software problem and it sort of rebooted. Lets hope it stays that way.
Thanks for the help.
Cheers Pencil.
