Please help : I have owned my Pajero for 2 months and when I start up and travel approx. 200 yards the power disappears totally and if you are careful you can regain the power and it is then perfect, otherwise it cuts out and struggles then to restart but does restart and then again works perfectly.  If anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful.  Julie

It sounds like the classic symptoms of the front oil seal in the diesel pump needing changing.

There are some mobile mechanics on here who have changed hundreds of them.
