I want to move my cb aerial to the front, where and how do you mount them? Has it got to be mounted on metal for an earth?

It's decades ago since I did anything with CBs

Just found THIS that might help - there is a photo of a mount onto a bull bar.

Read the link on that page about groundplanes though.

Not a fan of the mag mount, it gets pulled off by branches to many times, I've currently got a gutter mount fitted but I like the look of them on the front.
