So in a roundabout way, I'm at the last stage of getting my Pajero back after a while.
Since I last owned it, for some reason I now cannot get insured on it for a reasonable price whatsoever. Most places require it to be garaged, others now require me to be over 30 or a combination of both.
Admiral are the cheapest to have quoted me at £1000 FC. The rest are £1400 upwards or don't want to know. It's not replacing a car of mine, therefore it's a new policy which means I have zero NCB.
Have tried Adrian Flux online and by phone, can't even get a price or response off them.
I'm happy to pay for what I get, but seeing as 8 months ago I was paying £590 for it, I don't see what the problem is.
Anyone got some suggestions of who to try?
Thanks,
Mark |

Maybe sureterm/ Lancaster ,they helped me out with a good quote. Flux(wont go into it again) quoted me best part of £1900 after false claim, sureterm quoted £460 iirc and with breakdown cover.
http://www.sureterm.com/
Its hard to recommend a company tbh as they all seem to pee in the same pot and depending on age/post code/colour of under wear and what day it is quotes vary significantly.............. |

Unfortunately, Sureterm have stopped covering imports altogether. It says on their quote screen before you start.

Apologies for the short message before.
I had my MK1 insured with them, when I bought my MK2 to replace it, they wouldn't cover it "because it was an import". When I stated that the MK1 was also an import I was told "that's how it is and we can't cover it". So that may have been the start of them doing away with imports.
After a lot of faffing around, I've managed to get it with Admiral for £680.
Thanks though
