Pajero 2.8 SWB TD 1994
Hi folks,
Here's a strange one...whenever I use the Paj my heater works great, no lack of heat, but what is weird is if I've been on a journey and everything is up to temperature lots of nice heat coming out, when I stop for a bit and then re start the journey, no heating.
Only if I wack it up to full temperature do I get a bit of heat, but nothing like what it was on the first part of the journey.
Any suggestions?
Cheers Mike. |

Just to clear this up.
do you mean no fan or fan is running but cold air coming out.
if its cold air ive had this several times.
theres a small electric motor to move flap.
look under dash, under glovebox.
you do not need remove anything.
maybe a carpet I cant remember but its right on the floor at bottom of heater close to centre tunnel.
passenger side.
1 screw is like wonky.
ive had that motor do this or stuff fell in heater so its trapping the flap. |

Yeah it has climate control and it's normally on around 22 to 25 and it works fine, certainly warm enough...
I'm not sure if it's the fan, certainly the air that is coming out after I have turned the engine off and re started it is cold, it's coming out at the same speed but it's cool air rather than warm.
But if I turn the heater temperature right up I do get some heat out.
I will certainly have a look for the flap you mention. |
