Hi. We've had our Paj Pinin a few weeks now, a 2000 model and are very pleased with it. Nice drive on-road and off. Just noticed after some rain that there was a lot of water in the well of the driver's seat and rear passenger's seat (it's LHD). The seats are dry and I can't find any obvious leaks. Someone suggested that something might be blocked and the water is being channelled into this area. Does this sound feasible, and more to the point any ideas what it is that might be blocked? Thanks |

Hi - welcome to the club.
On the larger Pajero / Shoguns there are some drain holes in the front corners of the sunroof (you can see them with the sunroof is open)
If the tubes from those holes get blocked then water gets into the footwells.
Maybe it is a similar setup on your model.
If you have the drain holes then be careful not to puncture the rubber tubes that fit onto them inside the roof because it is a big job to change them.
Other people on here have cleared them with boiling water poured into the holes.
If those drains are clear (or you don't have a sunroof!) then look at door seals or a leak around the windscreen. |

Hi. Thanks for the welcome and the reply.
No, there is no sun roof and the door seals and seals round the windscreen seem fine. There's no sign of water except on the floor which seems odd.
I'm thinking I may need to sit inside and get the wife to turn the hose on it!
Thanks again. |
