Well thought id share my results the chrome on my wheels were pretty bad so i started reading up on rust removal on chrome
so the theory is to use tin foil as your abrassive paper as its soft enough not to scuff up the chrome its best to go in the same direction
when using this method.
not rocket since but u will need some coca cola and tin foil dip the tin foil in the coke and start rubbing down the chrome part like u are
Using wet and dry emery paper, rubbing down all the rust the coke kills the rust and turns black.
give the chrome part a good wash down With washing up liquid and water i got some clear lacquer and sealed the small pit holes as it kills the rust but doesent replace coroded Metal lol.i also gave the white painted part of the wheel a soak in coke and it cleaned the rust of there too.
think the results are pretty impressive saves me buying new wheels for a while hope it helps someone Smile
