Common problem with chrome and stainless bull bars.
Either paint them black like I did - or stick black tape on the rear of the bars to stop reflections. |

Welcome to pocuk minettjean
The reflection is a "feature" of shiny bull-bars, to let you know your headlights are working
Don't use super-bright headlight lamps, just fit additional powerful lights ahead of the shiny metal bars (wiring them to the headlights)

There is a 'texture tape' available, 3M(?), used for 'grip' applications - the edges of steps and such like - rather than wrap the whole of the bars in it, a single strip lengthwise along the bottom edge of the bar, nearest to the headlamp (or rather, closest quadrant to the headlamp) is a reasonable solution. The outside appearance of the bars remains shiny and 'chrome' - while the driver doesn't suffer reflection problems due to the matt-black textured surface, in just the right place.
I haven't used it since my Gold Mk1, but it certainly does the trick
That's my plan for The Red Menace anyway, the bars are staying on the truck this time! |

I'm not often driving at night, but a friend use the 3M rubber tape successfully.
The johnny alpha texture tape solution looks good to me. |
