Hi all. I drive a 2006 3.2DiD long wheelbase Elegance, UK model. Until last week, the radio, satnav and CD player functioned perfectly. The FM radio bands have suddenly ceased to work. The display shows stations and presets, but no sound is produced. The radio works fine on MW and LW. Any ideas?
Thanks, Tim |

Has 'any' work been done on the car recently? Might be worth checking the aerial connections |

When window and amplified roof aerials fail you tend to get zero AM reception and 50% FM. To check, remove the radio and plug a conventional aerial in and hold it outside the car, if no FM the most likely fault is the FM tuner module has failed, a small metal box with several connections which sits on the main PCB. |
