I have been trying to find out what the little black button with red led attached inside near the heated seat switches does. I am informed that it something to do with a Cobra upgrade as fitted to UK cars. however, I dont have any printed material for this alarm save what is in the handbook and doesnt mention this pesky button. So, can anybody tell me exactly what it does, and if anybody could create a pdf from their own literature I would be very grateful.

Getting the instructions is only half the solution, one day you may need the PIN to disarm the alarm.  I can scan the instructions but the PIN may be available from the supplying dealer or you may have to contact Cobra with the alarm serial number, a six digit code.

Thanks but I have actually managed to find them. They were rammed into the back of the handbook folder complete with PIN code.

Thanks anyway, appreciated.

Righty Ho. Help needed.

I have the sheet with the pin number and basic instructions. It seems to me the PIN will only turn off the alarm itself without the key. What the instructions dont say is whether this will totally disable the alarm i.e. for ferry crossings, or is there another method. I have a week to find out  Very Happy
