am I right the oil pressure switch is on top of cylinder head under intercooler if so mine has two spades going to it I have a loose male and female spade connector near pump if I connect these oil light comes on but wont go off when I start engine if I disconnect them oil light doesn't come on anyone any advice please |

The one with two spades (in a "T" shape) is the temperature gauge sender.
The oil pressure switch is nearer the front of the engine with a single spade connector. |

Liw oil pressure warning lamp switch is fitted onto the oil supply pipe to the vacuum pump on the front of the engine timing case, look underneath the top hose and you will see it under the hose and hard pipe from power steering |

thanks emax it is the switch that's faulty somebodys snapped spade connector off the top ive tested it with a wire its working |
