Hi all i recently bought an 'M' reg. Pajero SWB 2.8 auto, the engine oil is getting low and wondered which type i need to buy?

10W-40 semi synthetic.

You can use 10W-40 mineral but there is no point as semi synthetic is better and not much difference in price.

I usually go for a "turbo diesel" one - but not always. I'm using bog standard non-diesel one at the moment.

By the way - the service interval is 5,000km between engine oil and filter changes. Stick to that and your engine should last for many years.

Boshi filters from Milners are good value - I buy them six at a time!
