I don't think my messages are leaving the outbox at any decent speed...
reply to your message earlier...

Could you take a picture mate.
I am breaking 3.0 at the moment, almost certain it's the 24V.
Nothing in the engine bay has been touched yet.

The gdi must be noisier as I had mind done and I have the original cat which is huge plus a big box and 2 med and its still really loud. I first had it done with a sports cat and just the big box, the noise was unreal.

I went from standard zaust(dont make em like they used to i can tell you)as 18yr old and at least 2 maybe 3 times as thick as *beep* fit ones. Then as pre 93 had cat took out(made no diff to emissions anyway as always told runs clean Shocked yes you read that right Laughing So being on the cautious side i went for 2 small boxes at back.It sounds nice on tick over, when booted get a little growl,in no way is it intrusive at all so over last 12 months i have contemplated having 1 taken out, however its on back burner as need time and cba at mo Laughing Aslo depends on the pipe diameter too as mine is just 57mm no 62(2.5")this saved me 80-100 quid and makes no difference performance wise on a 2t shogy. With jap zaust being very restrictive(on most jap cars)cat usually eat up 15-20 ponies and then the boxes etc in old zaust too,i would say an easy 20hp more maybe 30.Obv feels norm now,but at time definitely noticed a difference in responsiveness, but 35s etc etc etc etc ...........have brought it back to where it was Laughing

for a eco flow cat that does what its supposed to i went to vortex exhausts cost me 90 quid inc delivery as opposed to Mitsubishi's 1500 +vat an fitting
they also do the stainless down pipes both for just over £100

far cheaper than spending £180 at a local fix it center who i wont name just for one y piece down pipe

there web site is here youll need to ask for prices  but they did do next day delivery too

thread resurrection warning Smile

this s interesting as my truck it seems has had a cheapo cat and y pipe fitted which is blowing like mad on the drivers side join to manifold ( hoping manifold is ok )

will defo be chasing those two piece y pipes tomorrow as im led to believe the one piece one thats fitted there is very cheap and unlikely to be a good fit hence the blow that developed driving it home
