Hi Guys,

The brake pedal went to the floor the weekend whilst I was driving(interesting), managed to get back home and found the reservoir almost empty(something I check frequently) , topped on the fluid. The fluid seems to leaking from around the rear diff area and is dripping from underneath. Everywhere else seems dry!

Anyone had this or can point me in the right direction please?

cheers Mutters

Not difficult, but first make sure that you know exactly where the leak is coming from. It may be a corroded brake pipe in the vicinity of the load sensing valve, for example. Or the flexible hose.

A weaker point in that area is the brake flexi hose. Guessing really only way is to clean it down and fill reservoir and pump brakes which will find the problem.

update

thanks guys for your comments - turned out to be the short brake line above the brake sensing valve, shoots oil out like a fountain!!

Whilst I'm changing that brake line would you change the rest of the lines and flexi hoses or is this a typical part to have an issue with?

cheers
