so i have a 1994 2.8tdi with front and rear air con, i would like to remove the rear air con but retain the front in a working condition
is this posssible?? also im assuming the bottom air con rad(condensor) is the rearwards one??
any help would be apricated |

I don't think the lower condenser is on a separate circuit - it justs adds extra to the large top one I think. |

Hello
Just had my rear air con blanked off. All you have to do is to fit blanking ends to the two pipes that go to the rear. If you can't get anyone to blank them locally...... The two pipes are joined with a removable connection on the chassis rail,, sort of behind the front wheel, cut them leaving enough to fit blanking fittings, undo the bolts that hold them on. You can then send them to someone who can blank them properly and then refit them yourself.
You will obviously have to put less gas in, from memory it takes 675 g instead of 1050g |
