Well it's been a long time since i had a Mitsi after selling off the Pajero i had, but i'm now back in a Shogun Sport Warrior!

Was looking around for a ready to use tow vehicle, and had looked at a few 4x4s (i know!!) then came across this one, so went and took a look and picked this up tonight, quite pleased with it - few scratches on the body, but nothing major and can easily sort it out over time, needs a wheel balancing or possibly bearing replaced but otherwise a very ready to go truck!

It's a 06 Shogun Sport 3.0V6 Warrior
129k on the clock, but full history up to 109k (so needs a service now me thinks!), 12 month MOT

What's the common things to watch for on these, anything i need to do / don't do????

Except the usual excessive rot at the chassis frame rails, there are no real down-points. Enjoy it, it looks great!

Surface corrosion is not the problem. Just be sure that there is enough waxoyl INSIDE the chassis rails. Especially from the rear doors backwards.

+1

I used Dinitrol Cavity Wax because you can get it in aerosols with a long applicator probe.

The chassis rails do tend to rot from the inside out.
