Check your batteries individually too. If one is bad it will bring the good one down with it. If replacing, do it in pairs of the same type and size  Wink

checked the voltage this weekend, it was good....it was charging with the lights still glowing, about 14.33 volts, on tick over and reving it...so this leads to maybe a fault with gearbox?? what does the AT light mean,is it low on oil? level looks fine on dipstick, maybe the sender unit??  seems temp related as its fine on start up , then the lights begin to flicker/glow after about 5 min.....that is the AT and ign lights....do you think the atf needs changing (never done it).....thanks...mike

It is to indicate that AT temperature is too high, but since this happen only after 5 minutes without heavy load or anything, I guess illumination is not due to high AT temperature.

I'm not sure what you mean by ign light?, Are you referring to charging indicator?

Scroll down and you will see two images of the indicator lights, which one are you referring?

AT light and chg light both are connected to the charging system (AT light is activated from ELC 4AT control ECU as well). So I guess this is related to the charging system.

There is a two wire socket connected to alternator. Please check if the connector is tightly fit there. If that is not fixing your problem, then try to measure the voltage of the white wire connected to that socket. it shoul read a voltage >12v when engine is running. You will be able to do it easily if you insert a wire to the 2nd pin of the alternator relay.

If you need the relay location and the pin layout let me know. i will be able to give you the wiring manual.
