Hi All,

I (among others) have lamented on the fact that the Cruise Control on the Pajero's is limited to 65MPH (obviously some Japanese regulation...)

Anyway, I found a company called NCS Systems (www.ncs-systems.com) who supplied me with a unit for £65+VAT (Inc Delivery) that basically removes this limitation.

This is a step-by-step guide to fitting it (the instructions that come with it are very good, and the guy there, his name eludes me, even offered me his mobile number in case I had a problem)

Step 1, remove the lower drivers-side dash.
Step 2, Remove the 2 x 10mm bolts from the relay carrier directly above the throttle
Step 3, Unplug the YELLOW connector block from directly above the throttle and feed it past the relay panel for easy access

Step 4, Cut the yellow/white wire (with silver bands) about 4cm from the block. Terminate the block end with a female bullet connector and a male bullet on the loom side.

Step 5, Terminate the blue NCS wite with a male bullet and the grey with a female bullet

Step 6, Scotch lock the Red and Black wires of the NCS block to pins 1 & 3 (opposite each other, i.e. Pin 1, row 1 and Pin 3, row 2)

Step 7, Plug the Yellow connector block back in

Step 8, TEST it before reassembling the dashboard!

I did this all in around 30 mins, and my Cruise Control now kicks in at 30pmh, and I tested it up to 95MPH without any problems.
