Hello..!! Can someone please tell me why my MK2 cruise control light is switching on for 2 sec and then shuts off? and not working... thanx

You get that if there is a fault that the cruise control control module is not happy about.

Check the speedo is working properly, the brake lights (because it uses the same switch on the pedal), and if it's a manual gearbox check the clutch pedal switch is operating properly too.
