now on my third pair and one bulb from each had started to flicker/flash/blink.. really fed up now and feel like going back to the normal W5 yellow one which would look horrid next to my HID conversion.
any idea why they blink? could anyone recommend the bulbs that don't blink/flash
please |

Lol.. I hope not.. well the description didn't read it.. I'm thinking it's to do with the poor quality chip. But three different ones to fail confuses me. Wondering if anyone here has been using ones that don't blink and can recommend some. |

Got THESE in mine.
No problems (so far - reaching for some wood to touch), and have been in a while now.... |

Viki, don't do photos.
Very simple but it varies from LED to LED as they all have different specifications which is necessary to calculate resistor value.
Solder 3 X LED's in series to fit in the lamp housing and calculate resistor value based on LED voltage and current, measure maximum voltage and solder resistor of the correct value to the + lead and encase in resin, fit lampholder back into lamp and Bob's your LED uncle. |
