I've swap the turbine housing to a smaller one for earlier boost and increase lots of fuel.
Now I'm able to get 2.5bar+, my 2bar running max out, I'll need a new boost gauge to get the actual boost level, but still haven't found any place selling it.
Currently running stock intercooler, it's way too small for such high boost. I'll be installing a bigger intercooler to run lower EGT.
Stock Pajero(0.75bar), 0-100km/h = 17sec, 100-140km/h = ???
Stock turbo maximum capability(1.3bar), 0-100km/h = 15.5sec, 100-140km/h = 24sec
HX35 turbo, (2.5bar+), 0-100km/h = 12sec, 100-140km/h =12sec
EGT running high on 400m burst, I'll get like something like 700c+ at end point. Hope intercooler upgrade can reduce some EGT
The stock transmission nearly reach it's limit, the power losses too much on A/T.
I'll share the results after intercooler upgrade. |

He never posted his results - so I doubt he will after over 4 years. |

I guess you are right. I just was curious about the results.
It was an original setup. I still think the turbo was way to big for this engine. |
