|
|
As usual the air con pipe over the rear axle had broken, it's in what looks like a block boles up to the chassis I have a contact in Mitsubishi who can game the pipe but he says there are 3 pipes, 2 discharge (one either side) and 1 suction on the OSR, my question is does anybody know wha pipe is broken or have a diagram of the system?
The broken pipe is on the OSR in the bock with the water pipe?
Thanks

I costed the rear pipe with mitsubshi staff discount which was £75 plus vat but thought I could do better, so I purchased some 8mm copper pipe and two 8L compression joints total cost £17.50 and raised the truck, cut neatly rear of the axle and about 20cm in front and put the new pipe on and did up the joints.
Tested with nitrogen all good, refilled the air con Saturday morning and all is well so far.

Good result - as long as the compression joints hold the pressure. |
