For those who feel they must have 10W-30 rather than compromising with 10W-40.

A company called Comma do TransFlow ML 10W-30 in 20 litre containers. Good for 4 oil changes at about £75 per container.

That works out at about £16 per change.

I got mine from my local spares dealer McGanns but I would think most small dealers should have the oil in their wholesaler catalogue.

Places like Halfords won't do specials to order and will just sell you what they have - i.e. 10W-40.

You can get oil filters on eBay for about £3 a time inclusive of P&P.

Less than £20 for a DIY oil change.
