Confirm the oil pressure light is on when the ignition key is turned on to accessories, and then goes off when the engine is running at idle speed. ?
If the light then comes back on with increased revs, I'd first check the wire connections at the sender unit are tight, and then replace the sender unit.
What you have right now is not correct, and is unlikely to be an engine fault.
Lets know how you get on. |

Thanks,
Just turned the car on. Oil pressure light is on when key is in acessories. When turn engine on light goes off at idlle speed. So at the moment is not doing that thing. I think i told you the wrong way, not sure now but maybe the light was blinking/on and when i press acelerator light would go off. Later on gonna go for a drive and see if happens again, i think i found the sender unit, wires seem allright. When this happened yesterday it was 40degres here where i live, wonder if this could have influence.
Really preciate your help, will try to get more information and came back here.

Are you sure its not the oil level light as the floats on these tend to absorb oil with age and the float sinks and puts the low oil light on. |
