Hello, there is a bit of play in the steering shaft between steering wheel and steering box on my LWB 2.8 paj.

you can here a slight knocking/clicking noise from near the upper UJ on the steering shaft when you rock the steering wheel.
Is it likely to be the top UJ or is there any other parts between top uj and steering wheel that could be loose?

You can feel it sometimes when driving feels a bit clonkey.

There are bushes in the steering column - the lower one can pop out of place.

Read HERE

There are a couple of links in the post - one has a diagram of the column and bushes.

Thanks for the reply, ive been away the past week and not had chance to look into this issue yet.
Is it simple to take the column apart to see if the bottom bush is out?
