We have recently acqured a Pajero 3.0 V6 petrol.

When we are fueling the vehicle - the nozzle fits in the tank neck ok - but the fuel keeps cutting out and it takes ages to get any fuel in!!

Its as though the air coming out of the tank is stopping the filling of the vehicle.

Does anyone have any suggestions please??

Phil

Think a lot of cars suffer from this, try holding the filler nozzle at different angles

We have tried this but will continue to experiment

Is it possible that the tank is "too
empty"??

Is this at one petrol station? Might be worth trying others as it could be a blocked hole in the nozzle that it making it over sensitive
