How easy is it to change the rear springs? I`m reducing the ride height by refitting std springs and winding down the front torsion bars. Do I need a spring compressor to remove/fit the rear springs or can it be done without? TIA steve

I want to increase the height at the back to make caravan towing better (I think?). When I hitch the van on the back the truck dips quite a bit - that's with an empty van by the way and not one that's got everything at the front. Also I drove past a sport the other day that must have had bigger springs on the back and it looked really good being higher at the back than the front. How do I achieve this - is it just a question of buying bigger springs?

I've just done mine you can buy the springs off eBay there mk2 Shogun ones £62, but I was lucky to find a nearly new pair at the breakers, it took two of us like but what a difference had to lift the front as well using the torsion bars, but didn't need spring suppressor

Just fitted 20% uprated springs from ebay to my Challenger and it picked the back up by a good 2 inches. I do a lot of towing car and plant trailers so hopefully it will sit level when loaded now
