It's sounds like injection pump problem Sad but could be only a speed pump sensor that is failing not pump itself which will be a good news as it cost around 50£ not 1.5k like reconditioned injection pump..

Mine 1st 3.2 don't show engine fault and pump was giving up even pass with flying colours a MMC dealer health check Sad try to connect it to MUT diagnostic PC, other method is just replace sensor which will cost around 50£ from MMC dealer dealer Sad still less than a reconditioned pump...

There are 2 sensors on a pump which as far as I know are both the same so you should be able to buy 1 and then replace top 1 and check if that helps, then replace bottom 1 with the same new one and checked if none of that will help then I am afraid it's a pump head that will need to be replaced Sad which leads to reconditioned pump fitting conclusion Sad hopefully it will be only a sensor problem as it's lower parts and labour costs. Keep as updated on work progress for future reference /guidelines for other users. All best!

It won't be easy to not only find a rust free but manual as well, but good luck with that!

I have gone and seen few manuals, and they all have large amount of
rust
why do I want manual?

as I will convert trouble zexel vrz pump for Bosch ve pump
and have a good car with good fuel pump
I have converted audi 5 cylinder  2.5 tdi  from edc to mechanical  pump
and build for others
shogun pump  would get  12mm pump head  So it can supply enough fuel
it can be easy done and it has been done
it will work good on manual 3.2 did
as I don't know  auto box behaviour and would it change gears  with ve pump Its not worth a risk
all the bits for building  a pump a ready
just need a car
it has been done there is a man on you tube under name pajero bosch  ve
with manual ve bosch pump
don't need half a stuff on engine, air  and fuel and it runs
12mm pump head, with not to aggressive pump cam plate will push enough  fuel for over 250bhp on 4 cylinder
even 11 mm pump will give same power and torque  as standard did
just need a car now

it is good cheep solutions
I just need to find  a car to fit it on
our know it will work on car with  manual gearbox box
as there is no way of ecu can do anything
as you  don't need air flow metar, boost pressure sensor  ,imer flaps etc,the tf035hl 14-6 fitted to 3.2did is internal waistgate by spring pressures of it hast to go run ,drive,it will bring light on but who cares
lad on you tube ,his is on auto but dose it change gears as it should.
I don't know how 5 speed mits auto box works
on 4 speed auto on mk2 there is tps on Pump to let it know position on throttle
it's a good think if doing 3.2did transplant in to mk2 paj,or even my mk1
it never crossed my mind until  other day ones I seen opening pressure of 3.2 did injectors  180bar 1st stage  and 240 2nd

emission for mot, pull max fuel screw  out to reduce fuel and it will pass perfectly
I need to find manual shogun
or if I do a pump up if anyone  has auto one with knacked pump and fancy fitting it to see how gearbox  works?
