I have a 2015 Pajero that I use for boat towing and launching, (a 22ft wakeboat),  I find the standard Dunlop tyres a bit slippery in the wet  on road, and not too much grip pulling the boat out when on "muddy" ish banks.

So looking for a tyre that is good on road and will have some grip, plus be able to cater with a bit of mud when retrieving the boat.

Any suggestions please and not Dunlop  as they are the current boots they only have 22,000 on them

Thanks

Trev

An All Terrain tyre will have a more aggressive and open tread than a Hard Terrain, ie concrete or capped road. AT are able to handle both hard and off road surfaces, to different degrees.

What exact tyres do you have ?

I'd visit a multi brand tyre shop for a chat and a view. Or check out on the Net, AT and RT.

I have General Grabber AT2s on my Mk II. They are good on road and good offroad. Good grip in the wet on tarmac but the price you pay for AT tyres is more road noise and less mpg.
