Anyone know what the warning light which looks something like a hot exhaust silencer box is for?, its also mentioned in Japanese on the sunvisor.

I think this is a warning light for the catalytic converter. As I understand it this comes on when the unit overheats. Apparently driving at a slow speed should cool it down? If there is another light on, perhaps a battery light, then you may have a problem with the charging circuit.

yeah I think you're right, It isn't actually on, only at startup with all the others, just checking in case it does come on.
