Hello All.

I'm new to the group. Been running a 2001 3.2 LWB 5dr Equippe for the last 2-years been quite bomb-proof save for usual type wear and tear stuff. I'd not used the shogun for around 10-days then found battery lifeless (completely discharged-dead) would not take recharge from mains charger over 24hrs. Replaced the battery and it started with no issue first time and is running normally, other than heater blower fan now not working (fused checked and appears fine) also central locking now not working (fused checked and appears fine). Not sure if I have a developing electrical gremlin which caused the initial battery discharge........has anyone else had a similar issue following a battery replacement?  Not sure if I should go hunting for the fault of just resort to visiting the local garage.........any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks
Blue

I would get your battery tested, mine had similar symptoms and it is due to the battery only holding a short term surface charge.  The malfunctions are likely due to low voltage, I changed mine to a Yuasa high charge one and it resolved the issues.

Halfords can test the battery for you.

It's worth checking the battery voltage - with ignition off and with engine running.
